Australian garment workers will benefit from the new law

According to Australian local reports, contracted workers in the Australian textile, garment and footwear industries will be treated as full-time employees due to a new legislation. According to Australia's 2012 Fair Work Amendment (applicable to the textile and apparel footwear industry), both contracted workers and full-time employees will enjoy the same rights.
