Swiss watch exports to China increased significantly in 2010

According to preliminary data from the Swiss Customs, in 2010, Swiss exports of watches and their parts and components amounted to 1.096 billion Swiss francs, an increase of 56.5% over the previous year, accounting for 14.7% of Swiss exports to China. During the same period, the Swiss watch and its parts and components exported to Hong Kong also increased significantly by 46.9% to 3.18 billion Swiss francs, accounting for 48.7% of the total Swiss exports to Hong Kong.
