Alright, my dear sewing enthusiasts, you've been asking for a swimsuit sew-along, and here we go! I'll be diving into this project by sewing Lisette for Butterick B6358, but I'm hoping you'll join me on this journey. If you're more into sewing B6360 instead, don't worry—most of the tips and tricks I share will still apply to your suit. While I won't guide you step-by-step through every single detail, you'll definitely gain valuable insights, especially if you're new to making swimwear.
Here's a sneak peek of what we'll be working on:
We're going to kick off the sew-along on May 23, spreading out the days so you have enough time to keep up at your own pace. Feel free to jump in whenever you like! Even if May 23 doesn't work for you, you can still participate later. The sew-along will remain available until the end of June, giving you plenty of wiggle room.
**Pattern Description**
This adorable, fully lined swimsuit pattern can be made as either a one-piece or a two-piece suit. Both styles are designed to fit snugly, cut on the crosswise grain, and feature elasticized edges. The top comes with front ties, adjustable shoulder straps that crisscross at the back, removable bra cups, and a hook-and-eye closure at the back. The bottom is high-waisted, complete with a cute little scoop in the back and a tie detail. This pattern is specifically designed for two-way stretch knit fabrics.

- **May 25**: Day 2 – Assembling the Tie Front & Facing – Finishing touches for the upper edges of both one-piece and two-piece suits.
- **May 27**: Day 3 – Putting Together the Two-Piece Bottom & Lining.
- **May 30**: Day 4 – Finalizing the Upper Edge of One-Piece and Two-Piece Fronts, Adding Leg Elastic, and Completing the Two-Piece Bottoms.
- **May 31**: Day 5 – Attaching Shoulder Straps & Finishing Touches – Wrapping up both one-piece and two-piece suits.
