Donghua University 'DUCE' fashion show registration Jiangnan International Fashion Week

On May 22nd, Donghua University's School of Continuing Education, which was invited by the Changshu Textile and Apparel Industry Association, held the "Donghua University DUCE's Fashion Show" during the 2018 Jiangnan International Fashion Week.

Donghua University presented a series of 48 sets of apparel design works for the “DUCE Leaders” theme of the show. DUCE is both an abbreviation of Donghua University's continuing education and also implies the meaning of “leadership”. It carries the vision and mission of the college to nurture costume designers. The design inspiration of this show is more from life, but higher than life. From flying butterflies, early morning flowers to brilliant neon lights and irregular shelves, the museum draws inspiration from traditional crafts such as hand-knitting, printing, dyeing and embroidery, and modern garment making techniques. Exquisite fabrics and rich details design create a highly recognizable visual language, allowing the work to gain its life and demonstrate the quality of Donghua design. From time to time, graceful and pleasant, and sometimes handsome and elegant design style, it shows the modern woman's flexibility and flexibility. It transforms the ethereal atmosphere and adds a noble and mysterious atmosphere. In the early summer season, it performed a beautiful adventure. After watching the catwalk, the head of the design studio said that the fashion show was like a clear stream, and the literary atmosphere was blowing. The silhouette and details of the costumes were well controlled. It is hoped that the Institute will introduce more catwalks in colleges and universities and bring new visual experience to local costume designers in Changshu.
